Monday, Tuesday closed, except in July and August

 High season (01/06-30/09): 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. for dinner
Off season (08/02-31/05 & 01/10-9/11): from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays for lunch  and 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday for dinner
Bistronomic menu is available for lunch (01/06-30/09)

Dress code is casual chic.
For everybody's comfort, pets are not allowed in the restaurant room. However they are very welcome on our terraces in summer.

The Abbaye de Talloires is a unique site where the perfumes of the lake, the mountains and the herbs from our garden leave place to a sublime inspiration of a Chef. It is here that our Head chef Frédéric Claudel composes for you a culinary promenade of sensuality and flavours, colours and scents, all cooked with perfect precision, the quality of the products, beautiful presentation and a large spectrum of seasonings to better develop the flavours.
Wine is a question of excellence in the Aux Jardins des Délices! Charly, our Head Sommelier, has nurtured both a judicious and endearing wine cellar; he conducts a tour through all the different regions of France where the most easily drinkable wines are aligned with the most prestigious vintages.

Our Head chef Christophe Le Digol is a story teller: he talks about the seasonal produces and his affection to the producers and you can read his story on your plates!



Heritage of the monks, the Abbey’s vegetable garden is still cultivated and assure the aromatic plants that come to enhance the dishes of our Head chef Frederic Claudel.

The delicious herbal teas are made from these herbs - fresh or dried - to please our clients.

The vegetable garden as well as "Jardins à la Française" are a permenant invitation for a visit.


This title is the result of a combined effort by state and professional bodies to recognize restaurateurs who have acquired recognized professional skills and qualifications and who are committed to working with fresh non-processed products.

Since 2007, the title of Maître Restaurateur is an official recognition which rewards expertise and good practice. It is the only label of quality accorded by the State.
There is a dual objective:

  • Acknowledge the expertise of the best professionals in traditional catering,
  • Highlight the skills as well as their commitment in favour of quality.

The endorsement of Maître Restaurateur is a guarantee of fine home-made gourmet cuisine prepared with the finest fresh products by a team of highly qualified professionals.

Menus must be varied, at least 4 starters, 4 main dishes and 4 desserts. Otherwise, proposed as suggested alternatives, at least 1 starter, 1 main dish and 1 dessert which must be renewed daily.

The Maître Restaurateur approval is delivered for a period of four years by the Departmental Prefect. This is the second renewal for the Abbaye de Talloires.

Aux commandes de notre restaurant gastronomique, le chef Claudel allie une cuisine délicate et pleine de saveurs qui séduisent les plus fins palais. Une signature culinaire propre à notre restaurant gastronomique et dont l’Abbaye de Talloires est fière de proposer à sa clientèle. Créatif et innovant, le Frédéric Claudel invite à un voyage culinaire et donne la part belle à de nombreux partenaires locaux des environs d’Annecy : pêcheurs, affineurs, maraîchers.

Aux côtés de Frédéric Claudel s’invite également la cheffe pâtissière Magareth Kuno  pour qui la rigueur, la structure et le goût sont à l’honneur. Sublimer des mets simples et enchanter vos fins de repas, voilà sa mission, qu’elle remplit magnifiquement au quotidien.

Food and service were excellent. Great menu and excellent service. Wine list comprehensive. Seating and the location were very cosy with lovely old wooden beamed celling.

It is a great place to be here, but it is upmarket. With nice weather they have a great garden to sit in for dinner.
