A painter from Annecy and member of the Société des Peintres de Montagne, Isabelle Allard has for many years pursued an artistic practice closely tied to the landscapes and heritage of the region. After a long career devoted to the restoration of paintings, she has also been teaching ancient and contemporary painting techniques in her studio for over twenty-five years.
Introduced to the public in 2014 with the exhibition "Des Tournette détournées" – a series of pastiches inspired by the famous Savoyard mountain – her work has since explored various themes connected to the local territory and nature. A loyal presence at the Abbaye de Talloires, she has presented several thematic exhibitions there over the years: "En bateau" (2018), "En balade" (2020), "Jeux d'eau" (2022) and "Entre lac et montagnes" (2024), inviting visitors to rediscover the shores of the lake, the old town of Annecy and alpine landscapes.
The exhibition presented in 2026 at the Abbaye de Talloires marks a new step in her artistic journey. It broadens her sources of inspiration while continuing the sensitive dialogue between nature, heritage and a contemporary perspective that defines her work.
