Water activities must be booked with our partner Nautic Fontaine, located just 100 metres from the Abbaye.


Recommended hikes

The Talloires area offers a wide variety of hikes suitable for all levels, combining lake panoramas, waterfalls, forests and Alpine summits.

Le Roc de Chère
About a 50-minute walk from the Abbey, on the heights of Talloires. Stunning panoramic views over the Bay of Talloires and Lake Annecy. Walking circuit of approximately 2 hours. Map available at reception.
Angon Waterfall
A 50-minute walk from the Abbey. A refreshing hike leading to one of the most iconic waterfalls in the area. Circuit of approximately 2 hours.
Col de la Forclaz
10 km from Talloires, at an altitude of 1,150 metres, offering spectacular panoramic views over the lake.
La Tournette
The highest peak of the massif at 2,351 metres above sea level, located 15 km from Talloires towards the Col de la Forclaz. An iconic hike for experienced walkers.
Les Dents de Lanfon
At 1,813 metres above sea level, between Talloires and Menthon-Saint-Bernard, about 12 km from the Abbey, towards the Col de la Forclaz.
Gorges du Fier in Lovagny
23 km from Talloires, a spectacular walk through a canyon carved by water.
The historic trails of the Glières Plateau
At an altitude of 1,400 metres, about 40 km from Talloires, rich in history and offering vast Alpine landscapes.

Tour of Lake Annecy
Considered one of the most beautiful cycling routes in France, this 40 km circuit goes all the way around the lake. Fully developed and mostly flat, it offers exceptional panoramic views throughout the ride.
Average duration: 2 to 3 hours.
